Hemorrhage inside the eye leads to floaters and visual loss. Most common causes are diabetic or hypertensive retinal disease. A retinal tear or previous retinal vascular occlusion can also be the culprit. Treatment usually requires vitrectomy and combined laser photocoagulation.
